I went to Foxwoods in 2000 to see a show. At that time I decided that slot machines looked like too much fun and it would be much healthier for my wallet if I avoided learning too much about them. I also decided that no artist is worth paying $65.00 to sit in the nosebleed seats. I can't imagine how much they charge for them now.

Mohegan Sun only. We have season tickets (10 yrs) for the CT Sun and love it. We almost never do other entertainment because of the prices, although we saw a couple of great shows at the Cabaret when they were doing more. We enjoy some of the restaurants and take advantage of some of their promotions, such as the 2-for-1 buffet they run periodically. We occasionally put $20 in the slots, but not much. For us, Mohegan Sun has it all over Foxwoods. We also know people who are employed there and they seem to be happy.

Both locations have pretty decent clubs that attract great local bands with NO cover charge. Ticket prices for MGM Grand start as low as $20 for some shows. The nose bleed section there is actually a small hill compared to a lot of other places. Granted some shows can get up there in prices, it holds true for a lot of "non gaming" places.
