Groton Arrests: Drug Charges, Threatening, Criminal Mischief

The following information was supplied by the Groton Town Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

March 4

James C. Caldwell, 27, of 28 Magnolia Drive, Groton was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, third-degree strangulation and threatening. His next court date is  April 16.

Antoine M. Knight, 22, of 43 Bank St., #8 New London was charged with two counts of failure to appear. His next court date is March 27.

March 5

Rosetta S. Rivers, 32, of 1042 Poquonnock Road was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia and two counts of illegal sale of a controlled substance with a court date of March 19.

Bernadette D. Manzanares, 33 of 129 Crystal Lake Road, #10, in Groton was charged with second-degree threatening, breach of peace and third degree assault. She has a March 19 court date.

March 6

Phillip R. Murray, 37, of 205 Scotland Road, Norwich was charged twice in the same day with violating a protective order. He was held on $25,000 bail on each charge.  On these cases, he is due on court March 22, though has a March 14 court date for cases stemming from a Connecticut State Police charges.

March 8

Scott Franklin, 25, of 11 Velvet Lane, Mystic was charged with breach of peace. His next court date is March 15.

Charles M. Gilman, 49, of 33 Palmer Road, Waterford was charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court March 22.

March 9

Paul S. Wragg, 52 of 135 Ann Ave., Mystic was charged with five counts of criminal mischief; two are second degree and three are third degree. He is due in court March 23.
