James D. Smith, II, 24, 175 Poquonnock Road, Groton, 11:09 p.m., second-degree breach of peace, third-degree assault: minor injury to intent to cause minor injury; court date Jan. 29.

Jan. 18

Sergio O. Medero, 29, 19 Chester Apt. #4, New London, 4:57 a.m., second-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace (turned himself in on warrant); court date Jan. 18.
