Groton City Police Logs August 2 to August 12

The following arrest information is provided by Groton City Police and does not constitute a conviction.

Daniel Ryan Roache, 32, of 673 Shennecossett Road, was charged with strangulation in the third degree and breach of peace.

A 17-year-old was charged with two counts of burglary third, two counts of larceny sixth: theft from a building, two counts of criminal mischief second and one count of criminal trespass third after an incident at Avery Point.

A 15-year-old was charged with two counts of burglary third, two counts of larceny sixth: theft from a building, two counts of criminal mischief second and one count of criminal trespass third after an incident at Avery Point.

Dashon Luther Charles, 21, of 162 Prospect Street in Moosup, turned himself in for failure to pay or plead.

Kimberly Barnes-Porter, 58, of 27 Morse Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Kristen Jayne Penza, 38, also of 27 Morse Avenue, was charged with breach of peace, criminal mischief third.

Matthew Smead, 31, of 85 Pine Road in Griswold, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, failure to drive right.

Jared M. Gomes, 20, of 118 McKee Street Apt. K in Manchester, was charged with breach of peace, reckless driving, reckless endangerment second, stalking second, unlawful restraint second, failure to drive right. 

Laura Russell, 37, of 84 Ledyard Road, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Jason Louis Clark, 43, also of 84 Ledyard Road, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Michael Francischelli, 50, of 35 Old Farm Road, was charged with assault third, breach of peace, criminal mischief third, interference with an emergency call.
