Groton Man Totals Car on I-95

Accident Reported On May 21

A Groton man totaled his car during a rollover on Interstate 95 on May 21, state police said.

Police responded to the accident on I-95 north in Groton at 12:06 a.m., according to a report.

The 1999 Saab that rolled was driven by Marlon J. Williams, 39, of 30 Bonnie Circle, Groton. There were two passengers in the car when Williams lost control and the car rolled, coming to a final rest off the right shoulder, the report said.

The car was totaled, the report said. Williams was issued a misdemeanor summons for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, failure to drive in the established lane, and driving without insurance.

He is scheduled to appear in court on June 3.
