Groton Town Police Arrests Oct. 10-31, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by Groton Town Police and does not constitute a conviction.

Oct. 10

Steven Walter Fuhs, 53, of 75 Homestead Road, Ledyard, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under suspension, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to have tail lamps lit.

Heather Linski, 19, of 119 Lambtown Road, Groton, was charged with third-degree larceny.

Kenneth H. O’Neal, 55, of 34 Atlanta Court, Groton, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court.

Oct. 12

Julian D. Cintron, 34, of 68A Clinton Ave., New Haven, was charged with altering or falsifying a prescription, second-degree forgery, conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, criminal attempt to possess a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle  under suspension.

Peter A. Travisano, 24, of 123 Elm St., Branford, was charged with altering or falsifying a prescription label, second-degree forgery, conspiracy, criminal attempt, and possession of a controlled substance.

Gary S. Duck, 47, of 74 Ivy Court, Groton, was charged with third-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Jason D. Bentley, 35, of 66 Michigan Drive, Groton, was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Jorge M. Hernandez-Polo, 23, of Crystal Lake Road, Groton, was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Oct. 13

Michael A. Burke, 48, of 1042 Poquonnock Road Lot 35, Groton, was charged with a signal-device violation, failure to drive in the proper lane and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Shawn P. Bridgman, 48, of 54 Black Point Road, Niantic, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.

Oct. 15

Barbara Smith, 57, of 52 School House Road, Preston, was charged with third-degree larceny.

Kerry McQuay, 49, of 13 Fitch Ave., Groton, was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and breach of peace.

Oct. 16

Shane T. Short, 51, of 19 Toll Gate Road, Groton, was charged with second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and first-degree unlawful restraint.

Ashely A. Bello, 22, of 587 Henrietta St., Kingsland, GA, was charged with first-degree failure to appear in court.

Oct. 17

Brandon M. Billian, 32, of 75 Nantucket Drive, Mystic, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Oct. 18

Nicholas J. Turk, 32, of 23 Firethorn Ave., Groton, was charged with third-degree assault and risk of injury to a child.

Darren Miles, 43, of 12 Elizabeth Court, Groton, was charged with interfering with an officer.

Oct. 19

Bromley G. Hooks, 29, of 615 Long Hill Road, Groton, was charged with breach of peace and risk of injury to a child.

Oct. 20

Danitra L. Ferguson, 34, of 216 Ocean Ave., #2, New London, was charged with four counts of issuing a false prescription and one count of second-degree making a false statement.

Antony R. Orbe, 30, of 8 Harvard Lane, Mystic, was charged with second-degree harassment and violation of a protective order.

Marc A. Casasanta, 38, of 15 Sunset Road, Winthrop, MA, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Rockland (MA) Police Department for attempted murder.

Oct. 21

Victor Encarnacion III, 26, of 37 Kamaha St., Groton City, was charged with illegal operation of a motor vehicle without tint inspection, failure to carry minimum insurance and failure to carry a license.

Brian Heller, 23, of 872 North Road, Groton, was charged with interfering with an officer.

Oct. 22

Matthew N. Perry, 23, of 12 Utica Court, Groton, was charged with one count each of fifth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny.

Oct. 23

Wanda R. Grayer, 52, of 10 East Baltic, Norwich, was charged with disorderly conduct.

Oct. 26

Donald Ford, 55, of 15 Jeffrey Manor Drive, Oakdale, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.

Samuel V. Johnson, 22, of 71 North Road, Groton, was charged with sixth-degree larceny.

Jeffrey J. Mumford, 30, of 269 Route 163, Uncasville, was charged with reckless driving, first-degree reckless endangerment, engaging police in a pursuit, and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Andrew R. Shelton, 25, of 163 Buckeye Road, Groton, was charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Oct. 27

Connor G. Lehner, 21, of 175 Whalehead Road, Gales Ferry, was charged with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs with intent to sell.

Jennifer A. Apes, 42, of 171 Indigo St., Mystic, was charged with third-degree assault.

Oct. 29

Janice L. Pagano, 42, of 9 Maxson Road, Groton, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and interfering with a police officer.

Oct. 30

Nicholas D. Aldrich, 21, of 354 Pendleton Hill Road, North Stonington, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to drive in the proper lane.

Oct. 31

Jalena B. Samuel, 42, of 127 Hempstead St., New London, was charged with sixth-degree larceny.

Sneha K. Patel, 23, of 470 Gold Star Highway, Groton, was charged with fifth-degree larceny.
