Groton Town Police Logs May 10-14
The following arrest information was supplied by Groton Police and does not constitute a conviction.
May 9
Kirk D. Hunter, 48, of 7 Hickory Drive, Ledyard was charged with driving under the influence, second offense.
Tanya Ballinger, 26, of 53 Kinsman Hill Road, Lisbon was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault.
May 10
Norma L. Esposito, 48, of 173 Rt. 12, #403 was charged with possession of controlled substance-narcotics and being in possession of narcotics near a school.
Juan Ruiz Jr. 47, of 216 Mitchell St., Groton City was charged with possession of controlled substance-narcotics, being in possession of narcotics near a school, sale of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance less than 1,500 feet from a school and risk of injury to children. He was held on $50,000 bail.
Jose J. Roman, 30, of 30 Affeldt Drive, Groton was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a child.
Demetrius C. Payne, 32, and Elizabeth Payne, 31, both of 10 Buckeye Road, Groton were charged with three counts of risk of injury to a child.
May 13
Robert L Mills, 49, of 183 Williams St. #104 New London was charged with disorderly conduct.
Shawn M. Ashley, 25, of 17 Joliet Court, Groton was charged with disorderly conduct.
