Groton Woman Held On $125,000 Bond After Drug Arrest

Police arrest woman after executing search warrant.

A Groton woman arrested on drug charges Wednesday was being held on a $125,000 bond, Groton Town Police said in a news release.

Nicole Scelza, 23, of 157 D St. in Groton, was arrested after the Groton Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at the residence, police said.

She was charged with sale of narcotics, sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school or day care, possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, the news release said.

Scelza is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Thursday.
