Silver Alert Issued for Groton Man

Police said the man, Albert James Fontaine, was last seen on Mitchell Street Sunday evening.

The City of Groton Police Department has issued a silver alert for Albert James Fontaine, 78.

According to police, Fontaine was last seen around 6 p.m. Sunday on Mitchell Street in Groton. He's a white male with gray hair and brown eyes, stands 5-foot-7 and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing white sneakers and jeans, and could have violent tendencies because of post-traumatic stress disorder.
