Three Injured in Three Vehicle Crash on Gold Star Highway
Multi-car crash sends three to the hospital with what officials said appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Three people were taken to the hospital following a 5:20 p.m. crash in front of Mike's Famous Harley Davidson at 1416 Gold Star Highway. By the time Patch arrived on the scene, two of the three vehicles had been removed; a minivan remained and it had sustained significant front end damage. Officials said the injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department, Center Groton Fire, and ambulances from Groton and Waterford as well as Groton Police were on the scene.
