Two children who had been reportedly abducted in Enfield Friday have been found safe, according to a news release from Enfield police.
"The two minor children that were the subjects of the earlier Silver Alert have been located unharmed," Capt. Jeff Golden said in the release. "We would like to add that the use of the Silver Alert and CT-Alert Everbridge System were vital components in the success of this operation.
"The department would like to recognize the hard work and diligence of the detective bureau and those officers that brought this case to a successful conclusion. No arrests have been made at this time."
Police issued the alert earlier Friday, searching for Kilee Bosley, 12, and her 4-year-old brother, Christopher. Police said the two had been abducted by their paternal grandmother, Theresa Bosley, 50.
