Ryan C. Wright has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for the 2008 murder of Jamel Campbell, The Day is reporting.
Judge Arthur C. Wright called a "carefully planned out execution," the article says, clarifying that the shots fired were not an "immediate reaction" to an event.
In 2011, Wright was found guilty of conspiracy to murder Campbell, however, the jury was hung on whether or not he was the one to pull the trigger, The Day reports.
According to the article, Wright was offered a plea deal--to plead guilty to murder and serve 13 years on top of the 20 for conspiracy--but he chose not to accept.
A new jury was selected, the case was heard again, and Wright was found guilty of muder.
According to The Day, Wright's co-conspirator Meagan Foley, testified and cooperated in his trials and hopes to get "consideration" when her case heads to the courtroom.
