Another windfall. So soon after the last one for the 2013 budget. That was the Board of Education windfall of $1.5 million dollars due to "healthy employees". That same windfall is being used this year as the excuse to raise the 2015 Board of Education budget. That there will be no tax increase is good, that there is not one item reduced or scaled back on either the Board of Education or Town side is not good. It simply masks reality and reveals a complete disconnect to the Groton taxpayers and business who are struggling in this economy.
