Attendance in the Groton Public Schools varies by school and age, a report to the Board of Education shows.

The school board received the report on attendance by school, at its meeting earlier this month. It was accepted without comment.

The report shows that attendance at the elementary schools during the period from Dec. 7 until Jan. 11 varied from 92 percent to 95 percent, depending on the school. Middle school attendance was 92 and 93 percent.

Fitch High School had an attendance rate of 89 percent during the period.
