A Round of Applause for Grasso's John Woodward!

John Woodward of Mystic was recognized by state Commissioner of Education. Why? Read on!

The Grasso Technical High School community joins together to congratulate John Woodard, one of our juniors, for an outstanding pair of accomplishments.

John, a Mystic resident, is a junior Automotive Technology student at Grasso Tech. He was recognized by Stefan Pryor, Connecticut Commissioner of Education, for his exceptional performance on the 2013 Connecticut Academic Performance Test.  He achieved the Advanced level on the mathematics, reading, writing, and science tests.  Grasso administration and faculty congratulate John for this accomplishment.

In addition, John scored in the 88th percentile of all college-bound juniors on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test, a predictor of college success.  John scored at the 95th percentile on the Mathematics subtest of the PSAT.
