Mary Morrisson students enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides, dancing and storytelling

Mary Morrisson Elementary celebrated its fall festival Monday with horse-drawn wagon rides, dancing, storytelling and educational-related fall activities for the children.

Children also wore hats in honor of spirit day.

“I think it’s bonding for kids and families to have spirit days,” said Principal Monica Franzone.

The school has two other spirit days planned in the coming weeks: on Nov. 10, the children will wear red, white and blue in honor of Veterans Day and on Nov. 15, they will remember Mary Morrisson’s birthday.
