The first of three forums on middle school consolidation. The Groton Board of Education is seeking input from the community regarding their decision on how to proceed in the consolidating of middle schools from 3 facilities to 2.
Rather than having a forum that only allows public speaking, the board is asking community members to come to one of the three sessions and participate in breakout strategy sessions.
Information will be gathered from these sessions to create a survey that will be sent out to parents and made available for anyone in the town to participate.

The data from the survey, along with the meetings will provide the Board with helpful feedback in making a decision that is in the best interest of the students and community.
Each session will be the same so there is only the need to attend one session. All meetings are from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Sessions will also be held on Nov. 10 at West Side Middle School and on Nov. 17 at Cutler Middle School.
