Sea glass collector and artist, Lori McClain, will present an informative talk on sea glass and sea pottery classification and identification on July 19 at 7 p.m. Her program will appeal to budding beachcombers, seasoned history buffs, or just the curious. All are welcome. Attendees may bring one piece of sea glass or pottery for identification. McClain has been an avid sea glass collector for 35 years. Over that time, she has become very knowledgeable in the identification of sea glass - its age, rarity, and even identifying the probable history of the original item.
Free and open to the public. Reservations are not required. Please call the Library at 860-441-6750 for more information.
