The Groton School Board has named two finalists in their
search for a permanent superintendent: Ledyard Superintendent Dr. Michael
Graner and Groton’s Assistant Superintendent for curriculum and Instruction,
According to a report in The Day, The consulting firm McPherson & Jacobson submitted the names of six candidates for the position and the school board conducted interviews during the week of Sept. 23. Graner and Clemons will have additional interviews during executive session from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Monday.
