Investigation of Superintendent Paul Kadri Nearing End

School Board Chairwoman says interviews are complete.

The chairwoman of the Groton Board of Education said Thursday night that interviews are complete in the investigation of Superintendent Paul Kadri, and the report on the investigation is being written.

Board Chairwoman Kirsten Hoyt made the comment during a joint meeting of the town council and school board. Three school board members, including Hoyt, were present for the meeting.

The board , pending an investigation of his "interactions with and treatment of district employees." Board members have made no public comment beyond this about the decision.

The board met July 9 in executive session to receive an update on the status of the investigation, and has scheduled another executive session for 6 p.m. Monday in the school administration building.

Hoyt said Thursday she believes that by the end of the month, the board will have the result.

Interim Superintendent Randall Collins has been leading the school system in Kadri’s absence.
