School Board Calls Special Meeting To Review Central Office Contracts

Superintendent Was Placed On Leave May 7.

The Groton Board of Education has called a special meeting for 6:30 p.m. on May 21 to review central office contracts.

The meeting comes two weeks after board members pending an investigation of his "interactions with and treatment of district employees."

It could not immediately be learned whether the two are matters are related.

Board Chairwoman Kirsten Hoyt is expected to ask that the board convene in executive session. The board may or may not take action when it comes back into open session, the meeting notice said.

The meeting will be held in the school administration building.
