Three Rivers Middle College Magnet High School Now Accepting Applications

Three Rivers Community College in collaboration with LEARN Regional Education Service Center of Old Lyme is set to open a new magnet high school at its Norwich campus

 

Three Rivers Middle College Magnet High School is now accepting applications. In a process which began in April 2008,  in Old Lyme has been collaborating with Three Rivers Community College to open Three Rivers Middle College High School on the Community College's Norwich campus in August 2012.

Three Rivers Middle College Magnet High School is a choice program that will serve 11th and 12th grade students who are interested in pursuing studies in the fields of engineering technology, business and finance, and hotel/hospitality management.

A dual enrollment magnet high school, the students will complete high school graduation requirements while having the opportunity to take college courses. The fields of study were selected in response to this region’s workforce needs. The programs enjoy a stellar reputation by businesses in this region and beyond.

The College has transfer agreements with many four-year institutions. Thirty high school juniors will be accepted into the first class.
