You Said It, Groton: Response to Kadri's FOI Complaint

Consensus on Patch and Facebook: 'Just go away'

Former superintendent Paul Kadri filed a violation of Freedom of Information Act complaint against the Groton Board of Education in which he alleges the May 7, 2012 meeting where he was suspended was an "illegal meeting."

Kadri was fired by the BOE this March after an arbitrator found Kadri had engaged in conduct warranting termination of his employment.

“They held an illegal meeting so everything that came out of it is null and void. So then that means I am the superintendent. It’s that simple,” he said.

Response on the Patch article and Patch Facebook page was swift:

Patch user Nancy: Mr. Kadri - If you cannot figure out by this point in the game that you are no longer wanted here in Groton, then you have bigger issues. We want our schools back, We are tired of your drama, We want to focus on what's best for our students - and quite frankly - that is not you. Please just go away.

Sara Williams: You want your life back!!! Mister, I want all the education my son missed while you were in charge!! You messed up Groton schools more then they already are!!! You don't deserve anything back!!! I think the kids deserved more then what you gave them.

Rick McDonald: Why did the patch leave out that he is also claiming they violated the Americans with Disabilities Act because he is Bipolar and ADHD? In my opinion he is an overgrown child that needs a good spanking

B-Mom: Time to move on Mr. Kadri. What part of binding arbitrator do you not understand? According to the article in The Day you are the only one with the correct information? Only you know the truth? I don't think so...This behavior that he exhibits goes back to the Blair Hornstine days - was your handling of that case to be blamed on your disabilities? It is time for the district to continue moving on. The system is getting back on track without Kadri.

Kim Kostenko Pedersen: Doesn't this man know when to walk away to save any shred of his name? He is only ruining things for himself!

Cathy Gray So, I suppose he wants everyone to think that all 14 current and former employees that were interviewed during the investigation lied? Really? What it tells me is that he was NOT a good boss and should have been removed prior to this incident. Just sayin'.

Mariam Kennedy: This guy is unbelievable! Let it go!! Just based on his behavior AFTER he was fired tells us how he must have been as a boss. What a nightmare!

Cathy Welles Cook: Go Away
