Labor Federation Announces Political Endorsements

 

After a careful questionnaire and interview process, the Southeastern Central Connecticut Labor Council, AFL-CIO has endorsed the following candidates in various cities and towns for the upcoming November elections:

Town of Groton: Rita Schmidt and Rich Waselik

City of New London, Board of Ed: Margaret Mary “Peg” Curtin, and Mirna Lis Martinez

New London City Council: Wade Hyslop Jr, Ronna Stuller, and Michael Passero

Town of Waterford: Gerard Gaynor, and Brendan J. McGuirk

North Stonington First Selectman: Edward Haberek, Jr.

Colchester Board of Selectmen: Rosemary Coyle

 

Wayne Burgess, President of the Southeastern Connecticut Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO said, “The Southeastern Connecticut Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO delegates are proud to endorse these candidates. We feel that these individuals will work hard for the citizens and working families of their respective towns.”
