GEMS Cross Country Meet - Registration being accepted

GEMS (Groton Elementary & Middle School) Invitational Cross Country Meet

Event Date:  Sunday, October 16, 2011

Town of Groton Parks & Recreation is sponsoring its annual GEMS Cross Country meet on Sunday, October 16, 2-4 PM, at Washington Park.  This is a free event open all youth in Groton and surrounding towns. 

Represent your school in this year's meet.  Event categories are divided into Male & Female for both 3rd-5th Grades (0.8 mile distance) and 6th-8th Grades (1.5 mile distance).  Medals awarded to top place finishers and a trophy to the school with the most top finishers. 

Preregistraiton is preferred.  Download attached registration form or log onto grotonrec.com, look for DISCOVER Program Listing, complete your registration form and bring, mail or fax (860-536-5690) the form to the Recreation office in Noank.
