Groton Summer Food Program Means No Hungry Kids

Beginning a week from Monday, no child 18 and under in Groton need miss breakfast or lunch this summer.

Groton Public Schools announces its participation in the federally funded Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The meal program includes breakfast and lunch and is free of charge. The program begins Junes 24 and ends August 16. Under the program, nutritious meals are provided free of charge. 

Who is eligible? All children 18 and under (21 and under if disabled) and there are no income/asset restrictions. A child simply needs to show up at one of the following locations at the designated times:

Catherine Kolnaski Elementary              

Breakfast 8 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.

Lunch 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

William Seely School                               

Breakfast 8:30  a.m. – 9 a.m.

Lunch 11:45 a.m. --12:30 p.m.

Claude Chester Elementary                      

Breakfast 8:30  a.m. - 9 a.m.

Lunch 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

West Side Middle                                       

Breakfast  8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. 

Lunch 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.     

Washington Park                                       

Breakfast 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.

Lunch 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
