Bob Peruzzotti Wins 2012 John Wentworth Good Sport Award

He has coached an array of sports in Mystic and Groton

Groton resident Bob Peruzzotti has been selected as a winner of the 2012 John Wentworth Good Sport Award from the Connecticut Sports Writers' Alliance.

Peruzzotti has been coaching teams in Groton and Mystic for about 35 years, and is currently the assistant softball coach at .

According to , Peruzzotti's coaching history includes Mystic Little League, Mystic Babe Ruth League, Groton/Mystic Youth Football and Groton Girls Softball.
