Dense fog advisory is in effect until Friday at 6 a.m. according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS issued a dense fog report for Southeastern Connecticut. Dense fog hazards include visibilities of less than a quarter mile. Be prepared for very hazardous travel conditions.
It’s advised that motorists drive slowly and use low beam lights. Leave plenty of distance between your vehicle and other cars in the event a sudden stop is needed.
