When Will Heat Wave End?

Possible Saturday storms may break the wave.

The worst part of this oppressive heat wave? No nighttime summer breezes to bring relief. No cool down whatsoever. So, when will this heat wave end?

The forecast, my friends, shows we’re stuck in this stiflingly hot, humid weather pattern until sometime Saturday when the break will come from severe and potentially damaging thunderstorms. By Sunday, it should be over; the forecast calls for a high of 81.

 Sunny, with a high near 85. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight
  Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 69. South wind 3 to 8 mph.

Thursday
     Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 89. West wind 6 to 10 mph.

Thursday Night
   A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday
  A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday Night
  Partly cloudy, with a low around 72.

Saturday
  A chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
