Wednesday: The Bill Memorial Library is looking for children ages 3–5 to join our Fabulous Fall StoryTime Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. StoryTime features classic stories as well as new favorites, song time with live music, fingerplays, and simple crafts. Thursday: The Bill Memorial Library is holding Spooky Stories and Creepy Crafts, a special after school program on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 4 p.m., where children in grades 1 through 5 can listen to “spooky” tales and poems and create a Halloween masterpiece to take home. Friday: The City of Groton Parks & Rec is holding its 4th annual “Trick or Trunk” party at Eastern Point Beach Friday, Oct. 25, rain or shine, at 6 p.m. sharp. The gate will be locked at 6:45. Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated trunks and light refreshments will be available. There is no charge but participants should bring their own candy to hand out to trick or treaters.
