What's Up in Groton This Week?

Meetings, meetings and MUSIC!

What’s the best of this week? How about music this week by Groton schoolchildren?  A number of winter concerts sprinkled with holiday music several evenings this week!  Look for more next week! And you certainly don’t have to be a parent or grandparent to attend these shows. All are welcome!

The Pleasant Valley Chorus is making excellent progress on music for our first concert! The concert will take place on Thursday, Dec. 12th at 6:30pm.

he S. B. Butler Elementary School winter concert will take place in the Butler gymnasium on Thursday, December 12th beginning at 6:30pm. The concert will include the sights and sounds of the Butler Chorus, Band and Orchestra.

The Cutler Middle School Grade 6 Band and Orchestra will be performing a Winter Concert on Tuesday, December 10th, at 7pm in the school auditorium.

And keeping with the student theme, the Catherine Kolnaski Magnet School will hold its 2nd annual Math Masters award ceremony Dec. 13 at 2:30 p.m. Math Masters celebrates the academic achievements of students in grades 3 to 5 who have mastered grade-appropriate math fact fluency. Congrats!
