Groton Board of Education meetings Monday include Curriculum and Finance and Facilities Committee and Committee of the Whole, at 5:45 and 7 p.m. respectively.

Groton Town Council meets Tuesday; first the Committee of the Whole at 6 and Town Council Special Meeting at 7:30, both in Town Hall Annex.

City of Groton Committee of the Whole meets Monday Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. Here's the agenda.

Groton Public Library Teddy Bear Sleepover is adorable! Children are invited to bring their teddy bear or another stuffed friend to the Teddy Bear Sleepover! Librarians will read stories, share crafts, have a bedtime snack and tuck our little friends into bed for a sleepover at the Library. Stuffed friends can be dropped off at the Library on January 30, at 6:30 p.m. and picked up on February 1, between 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Adorable! Call the Library to register for the event at 860-441-6750 or email us at reference@groton-ct.gov.

Pizza and a Movie at the Groton Senior Center Monday at 4 p.m. ‘Parental Guidance’ with Bette Midler and Billy Crystal. $5. Can’t beat this deal!
