Re-Elect Betsy Moukawsher Groton Town Clerk

Betsy Moukawsher is a highly capable clerk who has cut rather than increased spending and accelerated rather than delayed improvements. She has completed 100% of clerk certification credits while serving on the legislative board of the state’s town clerk’s association. She deserves praise rather than criticism for agreeing with recommendations to dispose of a costly obsolete record-retention system, which was implemented years before she took office. Under Betsy, the clerk’s office makes a profit for the town and she is a warm, welcoming presence in town hall.  She deserves reelection.
