<p>The Groton Public Library holds a collection of 150,000 items including books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, large print books, audio books and art. The library includes a local history room with genealogy and history books as well as city directories, newsletters, photographs, slides, newspapers and magazine articles.</p>
<p>The children's department offers programs including storytime, drop-in craft sessions and pre-school film festivals. The library also offers teen programs such as book discussions, a coffeehouse and a writing club. Betty Anne Reiter is library director.</p>
