Laurent Mullen, Neighbor

As a member of SAGAFTRA, Laurent has performed extensively in professional theater, TV, film and dance. At 17, Laurent first began dancing professionally with Connecticut Ballet Company. He studied jazz, modern, and hip-hop in CT, NYC, and L.A. In 1997 he joined New England Ballet Company, where he danced more than 18 principal roles in 8 years and served as its Executive Director until he retired from ballet. Laurent is the owner of Ballroom Dancin Fools, teaching Wedding couples, social and competitive students since 1998. He is a Pro/Am competing instructor in American Smooth & Latin, Swing, Hustle and Theater Arts. The Shoreline Arts Alliance honored Laurent with its 2008 BRAVO! Award, given “For significant contributions to the arts in our region”. He co-founded Connecticut Ballroom Theatre, LLC, producing touring productions of a troupe of 16 dancers.
